Jacob Cullen grew up just outside of Toronto in Barrie, Ontario. From a young age, Jacob fell in love with sports like hockey and football, and his fandom was mainly derived from his father, Sean. It was not until grade six that Jacob realized his love for public speaking and bringing people joy through his storytelling abilities. When it came to high school, Jacob realized he was able to combine the two and pursue a career in sports broadcasting and journalism. Throughout high school, Jacob adored his broadcasting and technology class, taking it a few times and earning himself a SHSM in technology. Now, Jacob is in Sports Media at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he is exploring more about the sports industry than ever before. Developing and honing his skills in broadcasting and journalism is a focal point for Jacob, but he is looking to explore more options to further develop his portfolio, like filming and editing and possibly making documentaries. Jacob is living out his childhood dream, all the while having fun while doing it.
